Camden was given this slinky at the Proctor Christmas get together. He was really cracking up and having fun with it in the kitchen with Daddy last night.

Camden's first handmade ornament

It's been a while since I've blogged and thought I'd share a picture of Camden's first ornament. He made it in Little Lambs at church this morning and his handprints make the angel wings.

Happy Birthday Kyle!

Kyle's birthday is tomorrow, so at bedtime tonight I was telling Camden to wish Daddy a Happy Birthday when he saw him in the morning.

Vacation

Kyle, Kraig (Kyle's brother), Camden and I spent this past week in Tennessee. We stopped at the Louisville Zoo on the way down and stayed near Pigeon Forge, TN in a cabin. I met up with my friend from NY who happened to be in Gatlinburg at the same time, the trip to Ripley's Aquarium was the highlight, Mini-Golf and shopping were fun, too. The guys went golfing one afternoon and I hung out at the cabin and watched a movie while Camden napped. We stopped at the Louisville Slugger Bat Museum on our way home.

10 Year Class Reunion

My class reunion was at Nine Irish Brothers Pub last night in West Lafayette, IN. I can't believe I have been out of high school for ten years now. While it was a small turnout, it was great getting to see some friends that I'm still close to and others that I haven't seen in years.

Cupcakes!

As I was recovering from surgery last week, Grandma Sandy brought some chocolate cupcakes over to help me feel better. Camden was having a great time devouring one ... I just couldn't pass up posting these pictures.

4th of July

We spent the evening of the 4th with some of our family. We went to our favorite restaurant, Scotty's, for dinner. Then, we went by the fountain and walked the bridge before heading over to Purdue to wait on the fireworks to start. Camden loved the fireworks!!! He thinks they're "pretty".

Kocher Family Reunion

My Mom's family had their bi-annual family reunion at Rend Lake Resort in Southern Illinois the last weekend in June. It was nice getting together with family from all over the country.

I've been giving some thought to starting a blog for a year or so now. I always enjoy reading others and think it's a great way to see what everyone's up to when it's not so easy to stay in touch on a regular basis.
